BRIDGETON — Two city men were arrested Sunday afternoon after the allegedly used a baseball bat and a stick in a fight with multiple people, police said.

Evaristo Flores-Reymundo, 39, was charged with simple assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Nelson Luciano, 20, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Both men were released pending court.

The fight took place in the 100 block of Bank Street at 2:17 p.m., police said Monday in a news release.

One person suffered minor injuries and was transported to Inspira Health Center Bridgeton for treatment, police said.
