Today, Israel saw the return of all 20 living hostages held in Gaza by Hamas, nearly two years after their abduction during the militant group’s October 7, 2023, attacks. Their release marked the first phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
