ANDERSON, S.C. —

Five people were shot and two died early Sunday morning in Anderson, South Carolina.

Anderson County 911 got a call just after 3:15 a.m. for a shooting at 208 West Franklin St. in Anderson. Responders found multiple victims with gunshot wounds. Two people who were treated on the scene died from their injuries.

The coroner's office says the victims were at Truth Bar and Grill when a fight started. That's when shots were fired.

Calvin Chester Jr. was shot in the head, and Roymad McDaniel was shot in the chest. Both died from their injuries, and both of their deaths are being ruled homicides.

Three people were treated for their injuries at AnMed, according to first responders.

The Anderson County Coroner's Office and Anderson City Police Department are investigating.
