Kevin Bradley was once an incredible athlete at Methuen High School and Plymouth State.

More recently, he's been leading as athletic director, the head football coach and the girls basketball at Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

He's faced challenges in life, but his biggest test came this year.

Right before another football season was about to begin, what was originally thought to be a toothache turned out to be something much worse.

It was tongue cancer -- leaving Kevin and his wife to face new obstacles: radiation, chemotherapy and challenges with his speaking.
