PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Two people have been detained by police while others are still at large following a high-speed chase with multiple vehicles in Pueblo.

The incident started just after 11 Sunday night when police were alerted to two armed robberies in quick succession, first at Coco Man Liquors on 1910 E. 4th St. and then at Alta Convenience store at 2102 N. Norwood Ave. two minutes later. Officers were told the robberies were related.

“Pueblo Police officers engaged two stolen, silver Hyundai sedans that were identified as the suspect vehicles in the robberies. The suspects fled the area, reaching high rates of the speed,” the Pueblo Police Department.

One of the cars crashed at 8th and Elizabeth Street.

“One occupant was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
