EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) said a high-risk cell extraction was conducted in Montezuma County to extradite a suspect wanted on a felony warrant.

EPSO said members of the Special Response Team traveled to the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office last week to conduct the extraction and extradition transport of 39-year-old Cameron B. White.

According to the sheriff’s office, White was wanted on a felony warrant out of El Paso County and was previously uncooperative with law enforcement during a previous attempt at transport.

On Oct. 1, White was reportedly arrested by the Cortez Police Department and booked into the Montezuma County Jail on charges unrelated to the warrant.
