(WHTM) — Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft and interim football head coach Terry Smith will make their first public comments this afternoon after James Franklin was fired on Sunday.
Kraft will now be tasked with a potentially legacy-defining decision on who will be Penn State's next head football coach. At the same time, Smith faces the inenviable task of rallying a program that went from championship hopes to a .500 record.
