DRUID HILLS, Ga. — A viewer’s email to 11Alive helped correct misleading signage at two small roundabouts in DeKalb County — and may have made them safer.

North Decatur Road is a busy two-lane corridor where DeKalb County replaced stop signs at Oakdale Road and Springdale Road with compact roundabouts. But the signs installed at those intersections told drivers to yield to vehicles entering the circle — the opposite of what Georgia law requires and what common understanding of roundabouts is.

That caught the attention of Druid Hills resident Don Jennings, who walks the area regularly and noticed drivers hesitating and stopping in confusion.
