CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — The father of a 6-month-old baby missing in Clayton County since early Sunday morning has been taken into custody on unrelated charges, police confirmed Monday.

Records show Antonio Pearce, the father of baby Nnakai Pratt, was booked into Clayton County Jail on marijuana possession, driving without a license and child restraint violation charges on Monday.

Police have not provided any further details on his status as the search for the 6-month-old has continued into Monday afternoon. 11Alive's Marissa Sarbak also reports a woman living in the same apartment unit was taken away in a Clayton County Police vehicle, without handcuffs. It's unclear on what grounds that occurred.
