GARDENDALE, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Flavortown has arrived in central Alabama!

There is a new restaurant inside the Gardendale Walmart. Chicken Guy! is a fast food chicken spot that was inspired by food sensation Guy Fieri and hospitality king Robert Earl.

While this is the first-ever location in the state of Alabama, the owners say they would love to open more stores throughout the southeast.

Chicken Guy! has bold flavors and hand-breaded chicken creations like tenders, sandwiches, loaded mac and cheese and even the odd food items like fried pickles, chicken egg rolls and dumplings.
