COLUMBIA, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A South Carolina lawmaker has found himself at odds with the state’s top law enforcement agency.

Earlier this week, Congressman Ralph Norman penned an open letter to SLED, the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division. In that letter, Norman demanded answers about why an alleged killer was out on the streets when he murdered a 22-year-old woman back in Columbia in May.

Logan Federico, a Waxhaw native, was visiting friends when Alexander Dickey allegedly broke into the home where she was staying, stole credit cards, and then shot and killed Federico.
