PARK CITY, Utah (WOOD) — Anytime Chris Lillis travels for more than a few days, his guitar goes with him.
"I've always loved playing music. Took piano lessons growing up. Obviously, you can't really bring a piano around with you all over the place. So I switched to guitar when I was 16," he said. "So this is like my little comfort, my little comfort tool that I use to kind of destress."
When he pulls the guitar out in public, he often draws a crowd.
"I've definitely had some good spectators before. Every once in a while, I'll open up the guitar case and see if someone will throw some foreign currency in there," he said.
He may earn a few Euros or dollars with his guitar, but his greatest talent is on skis. He's one of the top freestyle aerial skiers in the world.
"It's indescribable,"
