GREAT FALLS, S.C. — Chester County Sheriff's Office made two drug trafficking arrests on Friday, Oct. 10.
With the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Homeland Security Investigations and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the sheriff's office made a traffic stop and searched multiple homes along Circle Drive and Sweatt McCullough Road.
Nicholas Dooley, 36, was arrested as a result of the traffic stop. Dooley allegedly failed to stop for police lights, leading to a chase on Highway 97, deputies say. The chase ended in a wreck and a foot chase. Deputies arrested Dooley then search the car.
Deputies said they found "approximately 165 Grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl, approximately 12 Grams of a substance believed to be MDMA" and a gun.
