Josh Minnott signed a two-year minimum contract with the Boston Celtics in July and has already had a big impact on the team through three preseason games.

The 22-year-old small forward made his home Celtics debut at TD Garden during the team’s 138-107 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night, finishing with 16 points and six rebounds in 23 minutes.

Minnott was tied with Derrick White for second on the team in scoring while his rebound total was second behind White as well.

He told Noa Dalzell of CelticsBlog that he felt “invincible” at times during the contest, thanks to what he described as the best preseason crowd of his career.

“It was surreal,” Minnott said. “The crowd might have to chill out. Because I was feeling invincible.”
