INDIANAPOLIS -- Pacers second-year forward Johnny Furphy and two-way contract guard Quenton Jackson will miss Monday night's preseason game against the Spurs with injuries suffered in Saturday's preseason win over the Thunder .
Their status for the Oct. 23 season opener against the Thunder is also in jeopardy, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said.
Jackson did not return to Saturday's game after halftime because of a sore right hamstring. Furphy suffered a left ankle sprain in the third quarter and left the game.
Carlisle said in his pregame news conference Monday that neither injury is "super serious," but also said they will both miss time. That's an issue with the opener just 10 days away.
