LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Jefferson County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against a man already being held in connection a murder case with being involved in two other homicide cases.

The indictment charges Deonize Lee Jr., 22, with murder in a July 9, 2023, homicide in the 2000 block of Wilson Ave., and murder in the August 13, 2025, in the 4000 block of West Broadway.

Louisville Metro police say Lee was already in custody at Louisville Metro Corrections on a murder charge in connection with a St. Matthews Police Department case.
