A Florida man suspected of drug trafficking was arrested in Morgan County during a traffic stop.

According to Priceville Police, 58-year-old Steven Michael Ramsey was charged early Monday morning with trafficking dangerous drugs-synthetic narcotics, unlawful possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

About 2:15 a.m. Monday, police conducted a vehicle stop on Interstate 65 near mile marker 333.

During the investigation, officers performed a probable cause search of the vehicle, uncovering a significant amount of marijuana, synthetic THC concentrate/oil, various drug paraphernalia, and US currency that indicated involvement in the illegal sale and transportation of narcotics.
