PORTLAND, Ore. — Oregon Health and Science University said no patients were affected after air ambulance helicopters were diverted over the weekend because of a flier advertising a "laser tag" protest targeting aircraft over Portland's South Waterfront.

The event was advertised by people protesting outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building who had grown frustrated with increased helicopter activity in the area. The flier encouraged people to gather in public places and shine high-powered lasers at "the cop copter." It's unclear whether the event actually occurred.
