EBENSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Ebensburg community is looking toward the future while honoring its past, burying a new time capsule at Veterans Memorial Park to celebrate the borough’s 200th anniversary, according to our media partners at The Tribune-Democrat.

The fiberglass vault, buried Sunday, continues a tradition first started 50 years ago. Inside are pieces of Ebensburg’s present, photographs of downtown storefronts, church bulletins, and notes about local events, meant to give future generations a glimpse into today’s community spirit.
