Disney is bidding Hulu a fond farewell after two decades as a significant outlet in the streaming world, inasmuch as its being phased out as a freestanding platform.
The entertainment powerhouse announced on Oct. 2 that by this time next year, Hulu’s content will be fully integrated into Disney+ , according to a story on pennlive.com
And with the huge adjustment comes the end of an era for the service that got off the ground in 2007.
FYI: The change began on Oct. 8 when Hulu replaced the Star brand internationally, becoming Disney’s global focal point for adult-style programming.
The company has stated that its goal is to offer streaming options that are easier for subscribers to navigate — and build one stronger platform, the story goes on to report.
