Death of U.S. Naval Academy cadet from N.J. under investigation. Reported missing days prior.

The recent death of a New Jersey man enrolled in the U.S. Naval Academy is under investigation, according to reports.

Midshipman Second Class Kyle Philbert James, a junior at the military school in Annapolis, Maryland, was found dead Friday, nj.com reported. The 20-year-old from Morris County had been missing since Thursday night.

According to WFSB 3 , a local Baltimore station, his mother received a call from the Naval Academy informing her he had missed several classes. Followed by a phone call informing the family of his death.
