CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Johnstown woman is facing charges after she was allegedly caught on surveillance kicking a cat multiple times and using a leash to hang it.

Ebony Speed, 22, is facing charges after a neighbor reported to police that she had been abusing a small orange cat, according to a criminal complaint. On Oct. 10, officers with the East Taylor Township Police Department responded to a home on Donruth Lane for a report of animal cruelty.

The witness told officers that she had caught Speed on her surveillance camera abusing a cat. Police noted that the video showed Speed kicking a small orange cat continuously and using the leash to hang it, although they clarified that the hanging action did not kill the cat.
