CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- A man claimed he shot and killed another man outside a Franklin County bar because he felt threatened, according to court documents.

Aaron Pigford, 25, of Waynesboro, faces a homicide charge in the shooting death of 32-year-old Edward Jackson of Delaware, according to the charges filed by Chambersburg Police.

The charging documents filed in Magisterial District Judge Annie Shockey's office state that officers found Jackson dead outside Webb's Sports Bar after they were called for a disturbance, with gunshots soon being reported while police were on their way.

That 911 call to report the shooting came from Pigford, according to the charges filed. He said he fired two shots at someone.
