WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Even with cooler weather arriving, some of Watertown’s homeless residents are still living outside.

Chris Woodrum is 26, from South Carolina, and sleeping on a cot beside a Watertown street.

“Recently became homeless,” he said.

Woodrum says he came to Watertown to stay with his mom several months ago, then moved out because her place was too small. One suspects there’s more to the story than that, but at any rate, Chris now calls the great outdoors his home.

Where has he been staying?

“Everywhere. Anywhere I can stay,” he said.
