A new boutique hotel in Minnesota is welcoming guests to a fully renovated, 110-year-old former flour mill.

The Mill Hotel in downtown Fergus Falls will officially celebrate its grand opening Thursday, offering public tours of the repurposed mill.

The 32-room hotel began operating with a soft opening in late July.

"At The Mill Hotel, every brick tells a story — and thanks to historic tax credits, we're able to honor the past while creating something truly extraordinary for the future," the hotel shared on Facebook.

"These credits helped us breathe new life into our century-old grain mill, transforming it into a unique boutique hotel that celebrates local history, craftsmanship, and charm."
