NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A 17-year-old was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting on North Academy Street that happened Thursday, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD).
The teen was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree murder after an 11-hour standoff on East Castle Street, officials said.
The 17-year-old barricaded himself inside and prompted officers to “deploy multiple less-lethal tactics to attempt to take him into custody peacefully.”
