Garden Grove police asked for the public’s help Monday tracking down the person who killed a 67-year-old man last month.

Mario Barrios, of Garden Grove, was gunned down about 4 p.m. Sept. 21 in a largely industrial area in the 12600 block of Westminster Avenue, Garden Grove police Sgt. Nick Jensen said. The area also has some retail businesses, he added.

Barrios was fatally shot in the upper body in a parking lot, Jensen said. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died, Jensen said.

Anyone with information for investigators was asked to call detectives at 714-741-5422.
