HANCOCK, Maine (WABI) - Five people were taken to the hospital after a two vehicle crash in Hancock Sunday morning.
It happened at the intersection of Poplar Lane and Washington Junction Road.
State Police say, 35-year-old Katrina Springer of Ellsworth turned left from Poplar Lane and her vehicle crashed into a Jeep driven by 43-year-old Amy Richards, also of Ellsworth.
State Police say Springer was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and four passengers in her vehicle were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
They say Richards has been charged with operating under the influence and operating after revocation.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
