BLUE ASH, Ohio (WXIX) - Members of the Tri-State Jewish community say they are feeling relieved after Israel and Hamas agreed to a peace deal Monday.

So many times, we have reached out to the Jewish community to discuss anti-Semitism or threats made against a synagogue, but Monday is different.

While there is sorrow over the lives lost in this war, those at Temple Sholom say they are also breathing a sigh of relief.

“Finally seeing that the hostages are able to come back home, it’s remarkable after two long years,” Rabbi Ari Jun described.

President Donald Trump spoke with some of the families of the hostages at the Knesset in Jerusalem. He became only the fourth U.S. president to address Israel’s parliament.
