The 2025 season also marked the start of the semi-retirement of one of the speedway’s most successful Pro Stock drivers, Marc Lalonde of L’Orignal. Article content Article content

“I’m not going to say, not never, but there will be no more championships,” Lalonde said, taking time out from preparing his No. 7 racer in the east-side pits.

Regardless of how Lalonde placed in the Pro-Stock Alexandria Home Hardware Series , it was a bit of a celebratory mood as a big group of family and friends were on hand in the pit to wish the mechanics shop teacher well.
