ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – While it is currently spooky season, the season of giving thanks isn't too far behind, and the Abilene Salvation Army is asking for your help in preparing an enormous feast. Each year, the Salvation Army helps feed the public with a traditional Thanksgiving feast, and to do that, they need much more than just a few cans of cranberry sauce.

Though Thanksgiving may be more than a month away, Kitchen Supervisor for the Abilene Salvation Army, Teresa Harden, is hard at work with preparations to ensure those who may not have a place to celebrate don't miss out on this time of fellowship.

"We just want to be able to furnish them a good meal, a hot meal, let them get full and just be able to enjoy Thanksgiving here at the Salvation Army as a family," Harden explaine
