ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A heavy police presence is in Abilene Monday evening.

At about 6:40 p.m., Abilene police responded to the intersection of South 1st and Butternut Streets.

According to a bystander, at least one person was transported by ambulance. Reporters say there is crime tape and evidence markers on the scene.
