The Sherrill campaign doubled down on their accusations that Republican Jack Ciattarelli should take accountability for the role his company played in the opioid epidemic.

At an event in Clifton Monday afternoon, Rep. Mikie Sherrill, the Democratic candidate for New Jersey governor, was joined by state Sen. Joe Vitale and her congressional colleague, Rep. Frank Pallone, as well as community members on the front lines of the opioid crisis.

Sherrill said back in 2016, when she has said Jack Ciattarelli's medical publishing firm published manuals on the prescription of opioids, the drugs were a “well known scourge affecting our communities and affecting our families.”
