BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Western New York community is honoring Indigenous Peoples Day with celebrations at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum .
The museum is displaying the works of Indigenous artists and hosting a variety of events throughout the day.
An Artisans and Makers event featured handmade works, including jewelry, art prints, and wood-burning art. The museum also offered art classes, a film screening, and musical performances to showcase local art and cultures.
