Traffic is now flowing to businesses on Secor Road, and owners are celebrating a small win — the opening of the intersection at Secor and Laskey.

City officials announced the intersection would be open starting Monday, allowing traffic to move regularly. For several weeks, work on the center of the intersection restricted movements to right turns only, making Secor Road between Laskey and Alexis roads difficult to access.

The project has impacted many of the businesses in the area, which have struggled to get customers through the door. Toledo Indoor Garden, which sells indoor hydroponic and gardening supplies, estimates it has lost about 15-20 sales each day from the construction.
