Tight end Nate Adkins scored his first touchdown of the season for the Denver Broncos on Sunday in their 13-11 win over the New York Jets in London.

The former East Tennessee State University standout helped the Broncos take a 10-6 lead on the final play of the first quarter.

Broncos quarterback Bo Nix pump-faked to the flat and then found a wide-open Adkins near the sideline for a 16-yard touchdown.

Adkins finished with two catches for 23 yards. It was the fourth career TD for Adkins, a Knoxville, Tennessee, native in his third year as a pro.

Jordan Stout (Honaker), James Mitchell (Union) and ex-ETSU running back Jacob Saylors had relatively quiet days on Sunday for their respective NFL teams.
