AUBURN — One personnel change dominated the storylines for Auburn football on Monday, Oct. 13, but it didn't pertain to who will be under center against Missouri .
The departure of team captain and running back Damari Alston was the biggest topic at Hugh Freeze 's availability Monday.
The coach did make a notable statement, however: Auburn will once again start Jackson Arnold at quarterback against the 16th-ranked Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The decision, or lack thereof, comes as Freeze's Tigers have lost three consecutive games to open SEC play. After its latest loss, a 20-10 defeat to No. 7 Georgia, Auburn's passing offense ranked as the third-worst among Power 4 programs. Its total offense ranked No. 112 in FBS.
