Canadian Amanda (Bambola) Galle will face undisputed world bantamweight champion Cherneka (Sugar Neekz) Johnson on Nov. 14 in Miami.
Australia's Neekz (18-2-0 with eight knockouts) holds the WBO, WBA, WBC and IBF world titles at 118 pounds. Galle (12-0-1 with one knockout) is ranked No. 4 by the IBF and No. 5 by the WBA.
Galle says she is ready.
“I’ve put my time in," the 36-year-old from Mississauga, Ont., said in a statement. "I’ve been hanging out in the coattails of these big names, working in silence, and I’ve earned a spot at the table."
Galle holds the IBO bantamweight title, which will not be on the line in Miami.
