GRAHAM COUNTY, N.C. —
Graham County Schools announced that Tuesday will be a remote learning day after a threatening message was discovered.
On Monday afternoon, the administration at Robbinsville High School was alerted to a message written in a school restroom referencing a threat directed toward teachers for Tuesday.
Authorities found no indication that this was a credible threat, but the school district is proceeding with caution out of concern for safety. As a result, Graham County Schools will operate on a remote learning day on Tuesday.
The school district said, "We recognize the decision may cause inconvenience to families, but the safety and security of our students and staff remain our highest priority."
