BATON ROUGE, La. — Gov. Jeff Landry is calling for stepped-up security for the next LSU home football game following a against South Carolina.

Two people were injured in the shooting near the Highland Road entrance to the LSU campus around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Student Dylan Lapp passed by the scene shortly after the shooting.

"Me and some of my boys were coming back from the game and like the whole intersection right there was closed off from the cops and the bars we go to over here, it happened right outside it," Lapp said.

Student Graham Simpson-Ammons heard about the shooting at the game.
