BURNT HILLS — Patrick McGrath, Jr., superintendent of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake School District, announced he will retire at the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year.

“It’s been an incredible privilege to serve the students and families of BH-BL for nearly a decade and a half,” McGrath said, via a posting on the school website. “I was full of excitement and expectation when I accepted the duties of Superintendent in 2012, but little did I know the blessings, challenges, and fulfillment that the years would bring. This community has been my second home, and the achievements we’ve celebrated are a testament to the hard work of our dedicated teachers, staff, students and supportive parents.”
