A mural now decorates a heavily-used gateway into Wilmington.

The colorful mural spells out the city's name on the back of the ShopRite supermarket at Christina Crossing on South Walnut Street.

Artist Christian Kanienberg of Wish Unlimited coordinated the project in collaboration with the City of Wilmington and Kenny Family ShopRites , which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. He said he wanted to tell a story of "urban life... diversity and inclusion."
