AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo High Sandies are the only volleyball team from District 3-5A to remain undefeated in district play up to this point, and looking to keep that streak alive Tuesday as they host Tascosa.

The Lady Rebels are having a solid season themselves, currently 11-1 in district play. Their only loss comes from Amarillo High back in September and they have swept every other team in the district.

Both teams have only gotten stronger and Amarillo High head volleyball coach, Haleigh Burns, says the team knows what they have to improve on and have to be their best to take down Tascosa.

“The last time we played them, we struggled with defending the middle a little bit and so I think we’ve got to make some adjustments on that side and I think we have in practice,” she
