AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Randall Raiders defeated the Dumas Demons in their first district matchup on the football field to kick off District 2-4A, and the defense was a huge part of that.

The defense kept the Demons scoreless through the first half, and only allowed 14 points in the second half to pull out the 27-14 win. In just a short time period, linebacker Jevin Gallegos would run a fumble back, very close to scoring distance which would end up being a touchdown. He also picked off a pass and ran it back to a touchdown, essentially responsible for 14 points.
