GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A man in Ohio faces charges after authorities say he had inappropriate conversations with an underage girl from Levy County and possessed child porn.

Levy County Sheriff’s deputies say Ronald Newman, 26, would ask the girl for explicit photos and sexual favors.

Investigators received information about Newman back in April.

He was arrested last Tuesday and is being held without bond in a county jail in Ohio.

Officials say they are working to have him brought back to Florida.
