VIENNA, Ill. (WSIL) -- Vienna High School is mourning the loss of sophomore Chesney Patience Gholson, who passed away over the weekend.
Vienna School officials said Chesney was an active participant in FFA, agriculture classes, Youth for Christ, and 4H. Despite her health struggles, she was known for her infectious smile and joyful spirit.
Students are invited to attend her service on Thursday by coordinating with the principal's office.
