LITTLE FALLS — A 33-year-old Eagle Pass, Texas, man was injured Saturday, Oct. 11, after he was run over by a piece of equipment in Morrison County.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at 6:35 a.m. on 223rd Street in Ripley Township, north of Little Falls. According to the report, Dimas Delgado Jr., was helping load a potato trailer using a conveyor-style machine when the trailer unexpectedly pulled away. The conveyor caught Delgado’s safety vest, which caused him to lose his balance, while the wheel on the conveyor reportedly ran over his leg.

Delgado was transported to CHI-St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with unknown injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene.
