HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Three judge-executives from Perry, Floyd and Pike counties teamed up to discuss a renewed emphasis on the Pride Program on WYMT’s Issues and Answers.

Robbie Williams with Floyd Co., Scott Alexander with Perry Co., and Ray Jones with Pike Co., are working to kick start the Pride Program to keep the Appalachian mountains clean.

Robbie Williams said, “I tell folks we need to showcase Eastern Kentucky. We not only have a beautiful landscape, we have beautiful people in Eastern Kentucky.”

On Monday, the county officials discussed the issues with illegal dumping throughout the region.
