SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is putting the final touches on its second new substation as part of an expansion aimed at combatting crime and improving community service.

The North Market substation, located in the 1500 block of North Market Street, is nearly complete, and officers could begin moving in within the next 60 days, according to Corporal Chris Bordelon with SPD.
