SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - High pressure will continue to control our weather for the next several days before a big pattern change arrives by next weekend.

Tonight will be another cool and comfortable night across the region under mostly clear skies. Temperatures will range from the mid 50s to the lower 60s by early Tuesday morning.

From Tuesday through Friday, we’ll see more of the same across the ArkLaTex. Expect plenty of sunshine each day and temperatures will continue to run well above average. Highs each day will be near 90 with overnight lows in the low to mid 60s.

Looking ahead to this weekend, there are signs of a major pattern change as a much stronger cold front moves into the region. This front will bring our next chance of widespread storms and there will be a severe weather
